The European deanery of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” recalled the two-year anniversary of the withdrawal of Filaret’s organization from the OCU and the formation of a new structure of his supporters in Europe instead of the exarchate. This was reported on the Facebook page of the European deanery, where they also recalled why they refused to comply with the terms of the Tomos for the OCU.

“On June 20, 2019, a significant historical event took place for our Church: the Local Council of the UOC-KP took place, at which a decision was made to extend the existence of the Kyiv Patriarchate. On June 21, 2019, the European Exarchate was restored in the form of the European Deanery. The struggle continues,” Filaret’s supporters promise.

“Could a loving mother or father give their children to strangers? – Never! And since they gave it away and they say conditionally “obey another church”, because this is for the good of Ukraine, then this is not love. And we will not go for rent, we have our own church! Such bishops that followed – not pastors, but mercenaries and thieves, who are even ready to exchange believers for fictitious confessions for their own benefit,” the statement of the UOC-KP dean in Europe, Vladimir Chaika, from that day is quoted in the message.
