Archbishop of the UOC sues President Volodymyr Zelensky due to sanctions

Archbishop Paisiy (Shinkarev), vicar of the Horlivka diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, wants to prove in court the unlawfulness of President Zelensky’s Decree on sanctions. This is reported by the Telegram channel «Pershiy Kozatskiy».
The bishop “sued the court over the decree of the President of Ukraine on the entry into force of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council “on the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).” This was reported by the portal «Judicial power of Ukraine». The defendant in the lawsuit is Volodymyr Zelensky,» the statement said.
It is known that, according to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, 14 types of sanctions were applied to Archbishop Paisiy for a period of five years.
