Petition for the dismissal of Alexander Tkachenko from the post of Minister of Culture appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers

On March 7, 2023, a petition “On the dismissal of Alexander Vladislavovich Tkachenko from the post of Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine” was registered on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The author of the petition is Yury Vyacheslavovich Shiyan.

“We ask the Prime Minister of Ukraine to submit a proposal to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the dismissal of Alexander Vladislavovich Tkachenko from the post of Minister of Culture and Information Policy, due to improper performance of his official duties,” the publication says.

It is also noted that, while serving as Minister of Culture and Information Policy, Tkachenko “managed its activities in such a way that it caused stagnation in the cultural sphere. By not keeping his word, he publicly defiled the memory of all the fallen Heroes of Ukraine and showed extreme disdain for them, for the fighters, for those who are now giving their lives. The people are outraged by the policy of Mr. Tkachenko.”

“We ask you to release Alexander Vladislavovich Tkachenko from the post of Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine,” the petition says.
