For deviation into schism and gross violation of the oath of a clergyman, a ban on clergy was imposed on the former resident of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Archimandrite Avraamiy (Lotysh). This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.

“For actions that violate the 10th, 11th and 39th Canons of the Holy Apostles, the 2nd Canon of the Council of Antioch, by decree of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine dated March 29, 2023, Archimandrite Avraamiy (Lotysh) is prohibited from serving without the right to receive the Holy Communion of Christ Tain,” the message says.
