Odessa Regional Council proposes to terminate lease agreements with the UOC throughout the region

Deputies of the Odessa Regional Council are offered to terminate the lease agreements with the UOC throughout the region. This is reported by the Telegram channel LAVRA Live.

The author of the draft decision is a deputy from Poroshenko’s party «European Solidarity» Yulia Chukhalo.

The draft states that the UOC «is one of the instruments of Russian aggression against Ukraine.» Chukhalo proposes that the regional council apply to the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and the head of the Regional Council of Ukraine with a demand to terminate the lease or use agreements for the property of the communities of the Odessa region with the UOC.

“Similar projects are also being prepared for submission in the Kharkiv and Ternopil regions, where they want to pick up and transfer the Pochaev Lavra to the OCU,” the message says.
