The city council of Brovary deprived the UOC of the right to use land

On April 27, 2023, the city council of Brovary deprived the UOC of the right to use land plots on the territory of the community. This is reported by the Telegram channel Politics of the country.

Alexey Doroshenko, Deputy Chairman of the Brovary Regional State Administration, noted that “we are talking about 4 land plots on which 5 churches are located. By the beginning of large-scale Russian aggression in February last year, the OCU owned only 4 churches in the Brovary community, consisting of Brovary and the villages of Trebukhov and Knyazhichi. Another 11 parishes were subordinate to the UOC. Over the year, everything has changed significantly: only 5 churches remained in the UOC, and the communities of the OCU already own 10.»
