Metropolitan Luke: People who seize churches and beat parishioners profess satanism

Metropolitan Luke of Zaporozhye noted that the law of conscience always gives a spiritual assessment of a person’s life. He wrote about this on his own Telegram channel.

“No matter how hard a person tries to drown out this law in himself, he somewhere in the depths of his soul understands that he is acting sinfully. Moreover, inside each person there is the knowledge that he will be judged according to this law. no matter what country he lives in, whether he believes in God or not, he knows: stealing is bad; offending, beating people is disgusting; mocking and mocking them is vile, etc.,» the hierarch said.

The bishop noted that none of the parishioners of the UOC ever thought of going to take by force the buildings belonging to another community, to beat up representatives of other faiths just because «they believe differently than we do.»

«In order to understand that it is sinful to do so, one does not need to read the Gospel. Any normal, mentally healthy person is aware of this, regardless of what religion he professes. He can go to a synagogue or a mosque, read the Koran or the Bhagavad Gita, but his conscience will never allow him to commit robbery or violence,» he added.

Metropolitan Luka also noted that “what kind of faith do people profess who not only break into our churches with the help of Bulgarian women, appropriating other people’s property, but also beat the elderly, drive children and widows out into the street, do not allow the priests of the UOC to bury the dead on front of Orthodox warriors, I don’t know. But I can most likely assume that they have one faith — Satanism. Because a person with any other worldview, including an atheistic one, will not act like that. «
