The Commission of the Reserve will not seal the premises of the monks

The Commission of the National Reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” will seal the premises of the Lavra, but not completely. As stated by the acting director of the reserve Maxim Ostapenko, the commission will leave the premises that are needed for “compact living of the monks”, writes Ria Novosti.

As for the caves where the relics of the saints rest, Ostapenko did not provide any information.

Recall that on July 6, 2023, in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, representatives of the National Reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” with the help of security forces will seal the monastery buildings.
