On August 2, 2023, on the day of the memory of the prophet Elijah, representatives of the OCU seized another temple of the UOC in the White Church, St. Nicholas. This was stated by the «cleric» of the OCU, known for his blasphemy, Nikolai Gopainich, on his own Facebook page.

“Today we climbed through the window and are already trying to open this shrine so that everyone can enter here,” Gopainich said.

It is known that the Nicholas Church is located near the Cathedral of the Transfiguration, which the OCU seized on July 10. Recall that then the «priest» of this structure knocked out the door of the cathedral with a sledgehammer, crowbar, grinder and chainsaw.
