Court decides to return the building of the UOC monastery in Zhytomyr region to state ownership

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy said that the building of the UOC monastery in Zhytomyr region “returned to state ownership”. This is stated on the Telegram-channel of the ICIP.

“The economic court of the Zhytomyr region satisfied the claim of the Berdichev district Prosecutor’s office of the Zhytomyr region and returned to the state ownership of the monument of local importance – the house-estate Tereshchenko in the settlement Chervonoye Zhytomyr region,” – noted in the publication.

Recall that since 2001 in the palace Tereshchenko operated Christmas of Christ Chervonoe nunnery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
