Information about the deportation of Metropolitan Jonathan has been refuted

Profanariot website fosfanariou.gr. stated that allegedly Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchin and Bratslav confessed to the crimes he was accused of, refused to appeal to the court and was ready to leave Ukraine for the exchange of prisoners of war. But in the Tulchin diocese denied this information.
The diocese explained that Metropolitan Jonathan constantly stated and continues to state that under no circumstances, even under the terms of an exchange, he pleads guilty to committing grave offenses against him by the Vinnytsia SSU and the Prosecutor’s Office.
It is also reported that “the consent and signature of Metropolitan Jonathan for the exchange was obtained fraudulently by a group of employees of the Vinnitsa SSU, who, having personally visited him, claimed that such an exchange already had a blessing and even a written petition from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, as well as someone from the highest officials of the Russian Federation, and that his name has already been included in the list of bishops and clergy for urgent deportation, which has not received any further confirmation.”
