In Nosovka, a OCU supporter brutally beat up a UOC believer

On October 3 in Nosovka, Chernihiv region, while praying in front of the closed fence of the local Holy Trinity Church, a believer of the UOC was brutally beaten by a man in military uniform right on the street. This is reported by the press service of Nizhyn diocese of the UOC.

It is noted that the man who committed criminal acts, was together with representatives of the OCU and assisted them in the capture of the Trinity Church of the UOC. Before beating the «priest» of the OCU distracted the victim and tried to take her away from the believers who were praying in front of the temple fence.

Medical examination showed that the victim had «a bruised chest, fractured ribs on the left side, bruised left forearm». A report on the crime was filed with the law enforcement authorities. However, the officers of the local police department have not yet entered this statement into the crime register.

It is known that prior to the beating, the victim believer had received open threats from persons who had illegally seized the local church. She was threatened with persecution, beatings and deprivation of life.
