The community of St. Nicholas Cathedral of the UOC of Kremenets is forced to leave the church

The religious community of the St. Nicholas Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is being forced to leave the church and the occupied premises. This is reported by the Ternopil diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
After an appeal to the Western Appellate Economic Court, the decision was not in favor of the religious community. Now, as a result of the court decision, the community is required to urgently leave the occupied premises, which include the St. Nicholas Cathedral, the rectory house and the building of the Kremenets Regents’ School.
“The community of the cathedral for more than 30 years cared for, supported the vitality of this temple, ennobled it, protected it as a majestic Shrine! But, unfortunately, the state did not appreciate it and now boldly throws out our community”, – said in the message of the Ternopil diocese.
We shall remind you that earlier we reported that the head of the Ternopil regional police department said that he would force the UOC to leave the occupied premises of St. Nicholas Cathedral and Epiphany Nunnery of the UOC in Kremenets.
