The leader of the "Demaxe" movement said that the fight against the UOC will be difficult and bloody

The leader of the nationalist movement “Democratical axe” (associated with Poroshenko, – ed.), Yuriy Hudymenko, has expressed dissatisfaction with the recently passed law in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine aimed at banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The activist states that the fight against the UOC will be difficult and bloody. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“The bill that was voted down is actually the most lenient. It is absolutely better than nothing. But, for example, the bill No. 8221, authored by Mykola Knyazhytskyy, has an absolutely clear and much faster mechanism for eliminating these imperial metastases. And ‘faster’ is an important word here”, – Gudimenko writes.

Nevertheless, Gudimenko is sure that whatever bill is passed in the Verkhovna Rada, its implementation will take months, maybe even years. He calls the process of liquidation of the UOC “complicated and bloody”.

“So there will not be a situation in which there is a vote, signatures, publication in the Voice of Ukraine and the next morning the ROC disappears like dew in the sun. There will be a multi-month and even multi-year process. Complicated and even sometimes bloody,” the activist says.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that the head of the nationalist organization C14, Yevhen Karas, threatened to kill MPs who would not vote for a ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
