Tucker Carlson drew the attention of the U.S. Parliament to the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

A well-known American journalist, Tucker Carlson, has drawn the attention of US parliamentarians to the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church taking place in Ukraine. In particular, the journalist made a statement to the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, demanding that he react to the blatant violations of the rights of believers in Ukraine. About this he told in his author’s program in social network X.
«I said directly to the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Mike Johnson), who says he is a Christian: «How can you pay for the persecution of Christians with American taxpayer dollars?», — said Carlson.», — said Carlson.
The journalist added that American Christian leaders should have stood up for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by announcing it publicly.
«Why can’t Christian leaders, Christian lawmakers in the United States come forward and say that this is simply wrong, that we will not send money to build tyranny, as they have done, and persecute Christians? Is it really that hard?», Tucker Carlson concluded.
It is worth noting that Tucker Carlson is a consistent defender of the rights of believers and clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Earlier he criticized the government of Ukraine for persecuting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Carlson is convinced that Ukraine does not justify the financial assistance that the United States gives it, but instead represses the clergy and believers.
