Earlier, former MP Ihor Mosiychuk said that the Office of the President of Ukraine, together with the Patriarchate of Constantinople, is preparing to register the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Constantinople Patriarchate, which, according to their plans, will include the Ukrainian Orthodox Church after its ban.
"We should not be interested in the fate of the Russian church": the deputy from "Eurosolidarity" continues to inflame the topic with the ban of the UOC

An MP of the European Solidarity party and one of the ideologists of the OCU’s Tomos, Rostyslav Pavlenko, continues to stir up the media about the ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The MP believes that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church should be banned and that parliamentarians should not be concerned about the future fate of the church. About this he told on air of the TV channel “Direct”.
“There is such an impression that in the Office of the President think: very many supporters of the Moscow patriarchate supported Zelensky in the elections. And how come, they can turn away. And the second thing, some of them even say it without hiding, that we will talk to Russians about peace. Will Russians tolerate their church being banned in Ukraine like this? The best way to negotiate with Russia is what the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing. Let us stand on that and that is why we should not be interested in the fate of the Russian church,” – Pavlenko said.
