Uzhgorod TCM forcibly mobilized the archimandrite of one of the UOC Transcarpathian monasteries

The Uzhhorod territorial center for manning and social support has forcibly mobilized and sent Archimandrite Varlaam (Didenko), the vicar of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery in the village of Tereblya in Tyachiv district of Transcarpathian region, to the military training center. About it the priest wrote on his page in the social network Facebook.

“Dear brothers and sisters, yesterday after arriving in Uzhgorod TCМ was sent to the training center in Rivne. I ask everyone to pray for me and support our monastery. With respect and love your Archimandrite Varlaam”, – wrote the cleric of Khust diocese of the UOC.

Recall that on June 22, 2024 on the pages of the Khust diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in social networks there was a message about the mobilization of Protodeacon Vladimir Petrovtsiy, who has the obedience of keleinik at Metropolitan of Khust and Vynohradiv Mark. Earlier it was also reported that on March 20, 2024 employees of Tyachiv TCC detained and took away in an unknown direction the secretary of the Khust diocese of the UOC Archpriest John Rozman. Later it turned out that the priest was sent to one of the training grounds for AFU soldiers. Later, on March 27, 2024, the Khust diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church reported the forced mobilization of another of its clergymen and diocesan treasurer, Archpriest John Petechel, who has many children.
