The UN plans to publish its own analysis of the law “On banning the UOC”

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is preparing to publish the results of its own analysis of the scandalous law “On banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church”. This was announced by UN OHCHR representative Ravina Shamdassani during a briefing, RIA Novosti reports.
“This law was published on August 26, we have received it and are analyzing it, but it will take time. The results of our analysis will be published,” — said Shamdassani.
We will remind, earlier we reported that in the United Nations Organization said that they are following the development of events around the anti-church initiatives of the Ukrainian government and expect the full text of the bill № 8371, adopted in the Verkhovna Rada, aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was stated by the official representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Elizabeth Trossel.
