Criminals in balaclavas seized another UOC church in Kyiv region

On September 18, 2024, supporters of the OCU, with the support of criminals in balaclavas, seized the St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Kalyta, Brovary district, Kyiv region. This is reported by the First Cossack Telegram channel.

“According to the information from the scene, a group of mercenaries in balaclavas came to the shrine, cut the locks on the House of God and announced that the church had been transferred to the OCU. The raider seizure of the temple began on April 6, 2024, when local activists followed a standard raider scheme and organized a meeting of the territorial community,” – the statement says.

As reported, on September 19, 2024, supporters of the OCU, with the support of local authorities, seized the St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the city of Irpin, Kyiv region. It is reported that this was the last church of the UOC in the city.
