Ukrainian Foreign Minister visits Phanar during Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople

On October 22, 2024, during the Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiga, arrived at Phanar. The details of the visit are not yet known, but it is reported that the official met with members of the Synod. This is reported by the website of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.

“During the lunch break, the Patriarch and members of the sacred body received with cordiality and respect the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, former Minister Andriy Sybiga and his colleagues, with whom they had a long and informative conversation,” the press release of the Patriarchate of Constantinople reads.
