Robert Amsterdam calls on Zelensky to repeal law banning UOC

The head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, called on Volodymyr Zelenskyy to repeal the scandalous law “On the Prohibition of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church” and stop intimidating Ukrainian citizens with the actions of special services, which he compared to the activities of the GDR’s secret police, the Stasi. The human rights activist wrote about this on his account on the social network X.
“President Zelensky must lift the ban on the UOC and end sanctions against religious and political opponents! Also, Ukraine must stop blackmailing those who tell the truth about its terrible state, like the SBU!” wrote Amsterdam.
Earlier, Robert Amsterdam criticized Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for becoming an instrument of pressure on the UOC in the hands of the government.
