In Kremenchuk, unknown persons vandalized the UOC church

On the night of December 5-6, 2024, in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, unknown persons vandalized the local church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara. The attackers tore down and broke icons that were attached to the outer walls of the church. This is reported by the official website of the Kremenchuk Diocese of the UOC.

“On the night of December 5-6, unknown persons damaged the property of the Holy Barbara Church in Kremenchuk. The damage was noted on Friday morning by the parishioners of the church. Church property was damaged, namely, church icons that were on the outer wall of the church building were broken,” – the report says.

We will note that earlier we reported that on the night of August 23, 2024, an unknown person threw a grenade into the adapted premises of the Holy Protection religious community of the UOC in the village of Strelsk, Rivne region (Sarny Diocese of the UOC), where believers performed services. Earlier, the local Holy Protection Church was seized by representatives of the OCU, as a result of which the UOC community had to look for another place to meet their religious needs.
