Clergy and faithful of the Antiochian Patriarchate are safe for now - Patriarch John X

The Primate of the Antiochian Orthodox Church said in a telephone conversation that the clergy and faithful of the Antiochian Patriarchate are safe for now, and asked the prayers of the sister Church of Greece for their continued safety.
For his part, the Archbishop emphasized that the Greek Church supports the Antiochian Church, especially at this critical time. He affirmed that the offices of the Holy Synod, the Apostolic Ministry, the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the Metropolises of the Church of Greece are always ready to respond and help the brotherly people of Syria.
