Right-wing radical organization “Brotherhood” to hold seminar on countering the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

The head of the right-wing extremist organization “Brotherhood” Dmytro Korchynsky announced an online conference “Countering the UOC in Ukraine. Action Plan to Protect the Spiritual Independence of Ukraine”. The program of the event, scheduled for January 19, 2025, includes a discussion of ways to combat the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and algorithms for seizing UOC churches. The conference will be held online on the Christian Patriotic Platform website.
“The seminar will teach you how to recognize hidden threats to the activities of the UOC, to defend your position with arguments. Topics to be discussed: Opposition to the UOC in Ukraine Systematic arguments against the UOC Algorithm for transferring churches from the UOC to Ukrainian churches,” — the announcement reads.
Earlier, Dmitry Korchinsky said that the law banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will not lead to serious changes, so it is necessary to involve the “active public” in the seizure of the Church’s property. Korchinsky admitted that the organization he heads has repeatedly participated in the seizure of UOC churches, and therefore the radicals have experience in this area, which they can share if necessary.
