In Bosnia, Orthodox priest to be tried for restoring crosses on Christian graves

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened a criminal case against the abbot of the Karno Monastery, Abbot of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Luka Babic. The clergyman is accused of having restored crosses on the graves of Orthodox Serbs desecrated by local Muslims without proper permission. This was reported by the Telegram channel Pravblog.

It is reported that the appeal to initiate a case was signed by Bosnian deputies of the municipality in Srebrenica, as well as non-governmental associations of Bosnians in this city. According to them, Archimandrite Luka is guilty of returning crosses to the desecrated Serbian graves that the Bosnians destroyed by making a mesarea for their shahids, who killed Serbian defenseless citizens in Skelanje in 1993.

Earlier, we reported that crosses on the graves of Orthodox Christians are being systematically destroyed at the cemetery in Orahovac (northwestern Kosovo and Metohija).
