As reported, on the night of December 5-6, 2024, in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, unknown persons vandalized the local church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara. The attackers tore down and broke icons that were attached to the outer walls of the church.
Unknown persons desecrate and rob UOC church in Donetsk region

On the night of February 22, 2025, in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, unknown persons broke into the local St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with the intention of robbery and staged a crushing. This is the second case of desecration of UOC churches in the district in recent days. This was reported by the press service of the Pokrovsk vicariate of the UOC.
“The vandals broke down the church doors, stole church candlesticks and bells, and entered the altar and caused a crushing,” — the press service of the vicariate reported.
