The hierarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Nektarios of Corfu, has once again expressed his support for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The bishop emphasized that the island of Corfu, which is part of his metropolis, accepts exclusively clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, refusing to concelebrate with representatives of the OCU. This was reported by the telegram channel of the Cherkasy Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
“I have always been and will be on the side of the canonical Church under the leadership of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine. I consider this Church to be canonical,” — Metropolitan Nektarii emphasized.
