Crimean Grand Mufti sees no problems with religious freedom in Ukraine
The Supreme Mufti of Crimea, Head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Ayder Rustemov said that he sees no problems with the observance of religious freedoms in Ukraine. Rustemov pointed out that Islam in Ukraine is gradually developing, which he also says in the countries of the Arab world and Europe that he visits. “I would like to note that there is no problem with religious freedoms in Ukraine. When I travel to Arab countries or Europe, I tell people what projects we are doing here in the city center, that we can go out and introduce people to Islam, and we do it absolutely officially… We have some statistics. Although it is not “wow,” 3-10 people convert to Islam every month in Kyiv only with us. There are many examples,” – said the mufti.
