The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, believes that the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a temporary phenomenon that will sooner or later stop. The First Hierarch emphasized that in any confrontation between Orthodoxy and hostile forces, it was always the Church that won. The words of the Patriarch are reported by Vesti.RU.
«Christ is risen! And these words say it all. We believe in the victory of life over death, we believe that the persecution of the Orthodox Church, its crucifixion on the territory of Ukraine is temporary, because the Church always emerges victorious in the end,» — said the Serbian Patriarch.
