Destruction of the UOC is a globalist-funded undermining of Ukraine's national identity as an Orthodox country, - MP Dubinsky

Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky commented on the start of the procedure to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is being carried out in accordance with the provisions of anti-church law No. 3894. According to the MP, the destruction of the UOC is an order to the Ukrainian authorities from globalists who intend to change the identity of Ukraine as an Orthodox country. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“At the end of May, the deadline for the UOC to voluntarily re-register into the simulacrum of the church created by Poroshenko-Zelensky, the OCU, comes. Starting in June, a special commission on religious affairs will be able to ban religious organizations that threaten national security, and which, in the eyes of the authorities, are exclusively part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This destruction of the UOC is a deliberate attempt by the authorities, funded by globalists, to undermine the Ukrainian national identity as an Orthodox country and people,” — Dubinsky said.
The MP added that the destruction of the Church will become the basis for an endless ethnic conflict, as Orthodoxy is the only link between the two peoples of Ukraine and Russia, who are currently at war.
“The destruction of Orthodoxy as such, along with the destruction of the cultural code, language and history of Ukraine, is necessary not only to break with Russia, but also to deepen the ethnic conflict — Russians and Ukrainians must turn into eternal enemies of each other. Because ethnic conflicts, unlike territorial ones, cannot be resolved. The goal of Zelensky and the globalists is to turn the war between Ukraine and Russia into an unsolvable ethnic, interethnic conflict, so that the war will be eternal,” — he said.
The day before, former Deputy Foreign Minister for European Integration Olena Zerkal said that the Ukrainian church issue would be one of the elements of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. The diplomat noted that Ukraine is ready to give up territories, but not fundamental issues, such as the army, language and faith.
