Ministry of Culture appoints acting head of Kyiv Cave Monastery National Reserve

According to a decree of the head of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Svitlana Kotlyarevska was appointed as the new acting director general of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve. It is noted that she previously held the position of Deputy Director General for Paid Services of the Reserve. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.

It is reported that during 2015-2022, Svitlana Kotliarevska also worked as an adviser to the Prime Minister and Ministers of Ukraine. In addition, she is the founder of the GOV Club, a space for interaction between public administration and business professionals, which, in particular, conducts training programs for civil servants.

Earlier, Mykola Tochytskyi, head of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, explained the reason for the dismissal of Maksym Ostapenko, director general of the Kyiv Cave Monastery National Reserve. According to Tochytsky, Ostapenko “did not fight the Moscow spirit in the Lavra.”
