Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine to discuss Ukrainian church issue with representatives of the US government

On June 3, 2025, a Ukrainian government delegation headed by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, traveled to Washington to discuss a number of issues related to cooperation in the defense and economic spheres. In addition, government officials plan to talk with U.S. representatives about the Ukrainian church issue, which, according to Yermak, is used by Russia in propaganda. This was reported by LB.ua.
It is reported that the head of the Prosecutor General’s Office announced meetings with representatives of both parties and Donald Trump’s team. The agenda includes a discussion of the situation on the battlefield. They will also discuss the creation of a Recovery Investment Fund.
“We will also discuss the issue of the return of deported Ukrainian children by Russia and support for this process. We will also discuss Russian propaganda related to church issues,” – Yermak said.
Earlier, we reported that Russia had included a clause on the restoration of the rights of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in its version of the negotiation memorandum.
