"The Muslim Community of Ukraine is Part of Our Strength": GESS Congratulated on Kurban-Bayram

The State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience congratulated the Muslims of Ukraine on the celebration of Kurban-Bayram. The SSEFC believes that Kurban-Bayram is «not only a major religious holiday, but a reminder of the power of faith, self-sacrifice for the good, and the ability to remain human even in the most difficult times.» The congratulations were published on the State Service’s website.
«Today, this holiday sounds particularly meaningful. In Ukraine — where pain and struggle are daily realities — Kurban-Bayram becomes a symbol of unity, humanity, and brotherhood… The Muslim community of Ukraine is part of our strength. You are there when it is necessary to rescue, help, and defend. You do not only pray — you act. Side by side with all Ukrainians, you stand for a future where there is room for justice, peace, and dignity,» the SSEFC statement reads.
It is also worth noting that earlier, the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience congratulated the Jews of Ukraine on the holiday of Purim. The SSEFC emphasized that Purim is a living reminder of the victory of courage over fear, unity over discord, and faith over disbelief.
