Earlier, Natalia Rebrova, director general of the Chernihiv Ancient Reserve, said that the institution would continue to use the churches of Chernihiv taken from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church not for their intended purpose but for organizing secular and cultural events. Rebrova argues that since these churches are architectural monuments that are a historical heritage, they cannot be used exclusively for worship.

During the visit, Dumenko awarded the head of the local “reserve” Natalia Rebrova, who actively contributed to the expulsion of the UOC from the church. This is reported by the press service of the OCU.
It is reported that during the events held by representatives of the OCU in the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Chernihiv, which was taken away from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the head of the organization Epiphany Dumenko awarded a diploma with honors to the director of the National Architectural and Historical Reserve “Chernihiv Ancient” Natalia Rebrova.
