UGCC to build a new church in Kyiv

Construction of a new UGCC church will begin soon in the Obolon district of Kyiv. The building, which is planned to be made in a futuristic style, will have a “public space” and a “shelter”. This is reported by the publication Nash Kyiv.

It is reported that the project will feature transparent and translucent facades. This will allow sunlight to penetrate freely during the day, and in the evening the church will emit soft light outside, creating a special atmosphere. The main accent of the building will be a translucent cross that will pass through the central dome.

Earlier, we reported that the construction of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel of the UGCC is planned within the historical area of Socialist Zaporizhzhia. It will be located at 1-b Metallurgov Avenue. A project of the future church has been developed. On November 13, 2024, it was presented at a meeting of the Advisory Board.
