Pashinyan declares he will lead the “liberation” of the Armenian Apostolic Church

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan publicly announced his intention to lead the “liberation” of the Armenian Apostolic Church, which he accused of spiritual apostasy. He made the statement on his official Facebook page.

“The house of Jesus Christ is occupied by the Antichrist and a dog-eater… I will lead this liberation,” Pashinyan wrote, accusing the Church hierarchy of having lost connection with Jesus Christ.

It should be recalled that earlier Prime Minister Pashinyan had proposed holding snap elections for the Catholicos of All Armenians. “Snap elections must definitely take place. But snap elections for the Catholicos of All Armenians,” wrote the head of the Armenian government.
