Recall, earlier we reported that the Western Court of Appeal reversed the decision on the right to use the land plot in the city of Ternopil, on the territory of which is located the Cathedral of the Ternopil diocese of the UOC Ternopil in honor of the Holy Martyrs of Faith, Hope, Love and Sophia, as well as the diocesan office. Thus the court upheld the decision of the Ternopil city administration of April 17, 2023.
In Rivne region, the UOC community expelled from the church won two court cases

In July 2025, the Holy Ascension community of the Rivne Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Bugryn, whose church had previously been taken away, won two court cases concerning the return of the religious building. This was reported on the official website of the Rivne Diocese of the UOC.
It is reported that the court recognized that the statutory documents of the religious community are valid and drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the law. Thus, it was confirmed that the community belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church without any fictitious prefixes “MP.” Accordingly, the culture department of the Rivne Regional Military Administration is obliged to make changes to the register in accordance with the court decision.
The second positive court decision concerns the cancellation of the decision to evict believers from the church, which they had restored and in which they had prayed for decades. We remind you that on February 5, 2025 (according to a court decision that is now recognized as illegal), the head of the Bugryn community, Serhiy Pylypchuk, effectively expelled parishioners from the house of God. He cited the “needs of displaced persons from the east” as the reason, although no actual displaced persons were settled there, and the church stands empty, neglected, overgrown with weeds, and literally surrounded by wolves.
