Dumenko meets with Ukraine’s ambassador to the Vatican Andriy Yurash

On July 24, 2025, the head of the OCU, Epiphaniy Dumenko, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Vatican, Andriy Yurash. According to the OCU website, the discussion focused primarily on the international religious context, inter-Christian relations, and the internal situation in Ukraine.

“In addition, the parties discussed the role of the Church in strengthening the spiritual and moral resilience of Ukrainian society under conditions of Russian aggression, as well as cooperation with religious and civic organizations abroad to enhance international support for Ukraine,” the OCU website states.

It should also be recalled that on July 22, 2025, Epiphaniy Dumenko met with Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Republic of Poland, Vasyl Bodnar. The conversation focused on potential cooperation, particularly in caring for Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
