The police ordered a second examination of the body of a man who died on the territory of a Ukrainian Orthodox Church monastery in the Khmelnytskyi region

The police of the Khmelnytskyi region have ordered a second examination of the body of a man who died on the territory of the Holy Cross Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Starokostiantyniv. Law enforcement agencies have decided to conduct another investigation in light of new evidence in the case. This was reported by Suspilne.Khmelnytskyi.

It is reported that the commission examination was decided upon after the appearance of a video that allegedly shows a conflict between the deceased and a representative of the monastery. The police appointed an additional commission forensic medical examination into the circumstances of the death of a 51-year-old soldier who died on July 3 on the territory of the UOC monastery in Starokostiantyniv.

We will remind you that the day before, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Police published a refutation of the information that a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been killed on the territory of the Holy Cross Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the city of Starokostiantyniv. The source was local city council deputy Serhiy Zhmurko, who wrote on his social media that the abbot of the monastery allegedly beat the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier to death after drinking alcohol with him.
