The head of the Security Service of Ukraine commented on information about the “Russian citizenship” of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, commented on the information about the “Russian citizenship” of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine. Malyuk claims that the agency had a package of documents confirming the Russian citizenship of the Primate of the UOC, which is why Volodymyr Zelensky decided to revoke Metropolitan Onufriy’s Ukrainian passport. He made this statement on the TV channel “We Are Ukraine.”

“When we had a complete set of evidence confirming his Russian citizenship, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree and deprived him of his Ukrainian citizenship. It looked very strange when they then announced that he did not have Russian citizenship. We know that he had it, and he also tacitly confirmed this,” – Malyuk said.

We recently reported that four hierarchs of the OCU were found to have citizenship of Russia and the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic.” In addition, one of them even wrote a statement saying that he was ready to cooperate with the special services of organizations hostile to Ukraine.
