Earlier, it was reported that the head of the Odesa Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, Nikon Hrabliuk, issued a public address to the clergy and laity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in which he criticized current trends in church life and called for unity with the UOC-KP.
The UOC-KP continues to exist, Filaret has not handed over the founding documents, - official

Oleksandr Pyvovarskyi, chief specialist of the Department of Cultural Heritage and Religion of the Zhytomyr Regional Administration’s Department of Culture and Tourism, said that the “Kyiv Patriarchate,” headed by Filaret Denisenko, has not legally ceased to exist, since the head of the UOC-KP has not transferred the founding documents. In this regard, there are still a large number of UOC-KP communities in the state register. He spoke about this on the air of Ukrainian Radio Zhytomyr.
«There are a huge number of communities that have remained in the UOC of the Kyiv Patriarchate. After the adoption of the Tomos, this church ceased to exist in a spiritual sense. But in a legal sense, strange as it may sound, it continues to exist because the former primate of the UOC-KP, Filaret, did not submit the founding documents to the authorities, to the state registrar, in order to deregister it. Therefore, if you look in the State Register, such a legal entity as the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, the metropolis, exists. But in fact, it does not exist. Such a legal conflict serves as a pretext for speculation,» — Pyvovarsky noted.
