The MP claims that under the guise of an “inventory” initiated by the new Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, the most valuable relics of the saints will be replaced and taken out of Ukraine to Great Britain, as Volodymyr Zelensky personally promised to King Charles III of England.

Ukrainian political scientist Kostyantyn Bondarenko commented on the actions of the Ministry of Culture and the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” regarding the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which caused a serious resonance in the church community. The political scientist claims that the so-called inventory of the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk saints is part of the preparations for the transfer of the Kiev Lavra to the control of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. He stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest.
«The Ministry of Culture received instructions: ‘Inventory and take everything from the UOC and prepare for transfer. Not to the OCU! Prepare everything for transfer to Bartholomew.’ Patriarch Bartholomew is not eager for the OCU to become the full-fledged master of the situation in Ukraine. He needs his own parishes. He needs his own stauropegia. And Patriarch Bartholomew would very much like to get the Lavras—Kyiv-Pechersk and Pochaiv—under his control, directly subordinate to Constantinople. This is what is being prepared now, and Zelensky is actually helping him,» — the political scientist noted.
