“Finally!”: The OCU does not hide its excitement about the approaching ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

The head of the OCU press service, Yevstratiy Zoria, does not hide his delight at the decision of the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is affiliated with the Moscow Patriarchate. Zoria expects that in the near future, the UOC will be stripped of its registration and real estate. He wrote about this on Facebook.

«Finally, this has been done in the legal sphere: it has been proven that the Moscow Patriarchate is the Moscow Patriarchate. Even when it is hidden behind a Ukrainian sign. The information was published on the official website of DESS. The next step in accordance with the procedure is to terminate agreements on the use of property and apply to the court for deregistration,» — wrote the spokesperson for the OCU.

We recently reported that four hierarchs of the OCU were found to have citizenship of Russia and the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic.” In addition, one of them even wrote a statement saying that he was ready to cooperate with the special services of organizations hostile to Ukraine.
