"Catholic Struggle for Minds": Lviv consecrated the renovated UCU building

The renovated building of the Ukrainian Catholic University was consecrated in Lviv. The event was headed by the president of the educational institution, hierarch of the Ukrainian Catholic Church Borys Gudziak. This is reported by the press service of the UCU.

The reconstruction of the building lasted three years and included modernization of engineering networks, improvement of energy efficiency and creation of barrier-free space. Thanks to the support of benefactors and partners, the building received modern classrooms, a conference hall, a refectory, terraces and works by Ukrainian artists.

The renovated building has become the main academic center of the university. It houses the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the newly created Faculty of Law with the Legal Clinic, as well as a number of institutes and centers. In total, it will have more than 1,100 students.

Let us remind you that on September 1, 2025 in Zaporizhzhya there was a solemn opening of the Catholic school named after Don Bosco. The full-fledged educational institution, which was erected in 14 months, will operate under the auspices and spiritual care of the Donetsk Exarchate of the UGCC.
