Media: Hierarch of the UOC was obliged to undergo a military medical commission

The hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Volodymyr-Volynskyy and Kovel Volodymyr (Melnyk), has received a summons to undergo a military medical commission. According to the media, the 56-year-old bishop is planned to be checked for suitability for military service. This is reported by BUH.
According to the media, citing their own sources, Metropolitan Vladimir «received a summons from the TRC to undergo a military medical commission, but delays the process by submitting certificates of treatment.» At the same time, the information that the bishop is detained or held in the territorial manning center is not confirmed.
Recall that in the city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi on the morning of October 10, there was a forced eviction of the Volodymyr-Volynskyi diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the complex of occupied premises, which includes the Holy Dormition Cathedral, the diocesan office and the theological school. The police have cordoned off the area and are not letting the faithful inside the cathedral, while the Cathedral itself is undergoing a «property inventory».
