The lawyer spoke about the persecution of believers, high levels of corruption, forced mobilization and the desire of the people of Ukraine for peace, and expressed support for Donald Trump’s peace initiatives. He also bluntly accused President Zelensky’s inner circle of stealing Western financial aid: «They steal American and European money that was actually allocated to their country to fight Russian aggression.»

The key thesis of the speech was the assertion of the Ukrainians’ desire to end the conflict. «The people I talk to in Ukraine desperately want peace and to explore the possibility of a ceasefire,» the lawyer emphasized. In this context, he criticized the position of European countries: «Europeans are very belligerent when it comes to frozen Russian assets and young Ukrainian soldiers. But they are not belligerent at all when it comes to their own money and their own young people.»
