Metropolitan Theodosius's condition is deteriorating, doctors cannot establish the cause

Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkasy and Kanev is deteriorating despite intensive therapy. According to information from the diocese, doctors are conducting comprehensive diagnostics, but the cause of the negative dynamics has not yet been determined. This is reported in the official Telegram-channel of the diocese «Cherkassy Blagovestnik».

The message notes that Metropolitan Theodosius is provided with qualified medical assistance, but it, unfortunately, so far does not bring positive results. «Negative diagnostic indicators on internal organs continue to grow, despite intensive therapy,» the publication says.

In connection with the situation, Cherkassy diocese appealed to the faithful with a request to intensify prayers for the health and salvation of the Metropolitan.

We will remind, earlier we reported that Metropolitan of Cherkasy and Kanevsky Theodosius was urgently hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration of health. Doctors are conducting a comprehensive examination, during which the version about possible poisoning of the hierarch will be investigated. At present, the hierarch’s condition has been stabilized and he is undergoing a course of intensive therapy.
