TCM employees in Volyn mobilized a priest of the UOC

In Volyn region, employees of the territorial center for manning and social support (TCM) mobilized a clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Archpriest Serhiy Savievsky, rector of two rural parishes, was sent to the training ground after passing the military medical commission.

Information about this was disseminated by the press service of the Vladimir-Volyn diocese of the UOC. According to their message, the incident occurred on December 2, 2025. Employees of Lutsk TCM detained the rector of the parishes in the villages of Silnoye and Gupaly directly at the place of his ministry.

It is reported that currently Archpriest Sergiy Savievsky has already at the Rivne firing range for further training. The diocese appealed to the faithful with a request to pray for the clergyman.

We shall remind you that on September 2, 2025 in Rivne region, TCM officers subjected the hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bishop Seraphim (Kadubianskyi) of Novovorontsovskiy, to forced mobilization. Together with the bishop, they detained his assistant, Hieromonk Gabriel (Kinashchuk).
