Supreme Court sets for consideration the case on termination of the Korets nunnery

The Supreme Court has scheduled for appeal case No. 855/14/25, which concerns measures to secure a lawsuit filed by the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) to terminate the activities of the religious organization «Korets Holy Trinity Monastery of the Moscow Patriarchate». This was reported by the StateService of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.

The court hearing is scheduled for December 18, 2025 at 14:30. The hearing will be held at the premises of the Administrative Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court at 8 Knyaziv Ostrozkykh St., Kyiv, building 8. 5.

Earlier, we reported that the media had established the total amount of real estate owned by the Korets Holy Trinity Stavropegial Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church located in Rivne region. Journalists expect that all the property of the monastery will be expropriated by the state after the Trinity Monastery loses its legal registration.
