Metropolitan Theodosius was discharged from the hospital and transferred to outpatient treatment

The hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkasy and Kanev, has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his treatment on an outpatient basis. The condition of his health does not allow him to return to full public service, but the Metropolitan expressed his deep gratitude to all those who provided him with prayerful support during this period.

According to Metropolitan Theodosius’ Telegram channel, the bishop has been discharged from the hospital and is now under the supervision of his attending physician. Despite the fact that a full-fledged return to public ministry is not yet possible, there is hope that with God’s help the period of full recovery of health will not be long.

Vladyka Theodosius conveyed words of gratitude to all those who worried about him, prayed and supported him. “My dear and beloved brothers and sisters! Your prayerful support is a great value and strength that the Lord has shown me in these days. May the Lord repay each of you a hundredfold for your love and participation, for your prayers and every support! “, – the Metropolitan asked to convey.

Earlier we reported that Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkasy and Kanev was urgently hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration of health. Doctors are conducting a comprehensive examination, during which the version about possible poisoning of the hierarch will be investigated. At present, the hierarch’s condition has been stabilized and he is undergoing a course of intensive therapy.
